Online Tools I use for my Photos

I have decided to retire my Shutterfly account as my online album. I have used Shutterfly for over 2 years to post albums online and share them with family and friends. But I have discovered a new online tool which is faster and offers better features for an online album. I am now using Picasa Web Albums. I will now only use my Shutterfly account to create scrapbook pages. I have also recently signed up for a Photobucket account and I use this to edit my photos online, it has features similar to Photoshop.

Pinoy Dream Academy

I just have to say this quickly. Nakaka-irita ang Pinoy Dream Academy. We did not intentionally watch tonight's show, but since we came home for dinner, we were able to watch it. I was so surprised to see that those who have the "voice" were the ones waitlisted. Susme, nde magagaling ang nakapasok! Yung may kwento, yun ang mga nakapasok. Ganyan ba ang show na yan talaga? Kainis!

I hope Jet Singh makes it. He has a nice voice. Similar to the voice of Ogie Alcasid. I hope people would vote for him to join the "Scholars".

Kythe Charity Run Update

- Updated the list of our friends who pledged for MS's run in my previous entry.
- MS finished 4 laps this morning. ;)

I will be sending out the bank details of MS for the pledges within today.

A Father's Day Post :)

I have 999 reasons to brag about MS as a father, let me share with you the top 5 so as not to bore you with the long list :).

1. He really really finds time to play with Trisha. He has his uber busy moments at the office, but when I remind him about not spending enough time with his daughter, he would immediately do something about it. The house gets crazy when father and daughter run around the house chasing each other or playing hide & seek. The laughter and shrieks of happiness from Trisha are the sweetest sounding "noise" I have ever heard.

2. He spends time watching Barney with Trisha. We both hated Barney before Trisha came. We promised we wouldn't let Trisha watch Barney stuff as we couldn't really understand why kids love Barney. But today, all 3 of us (MS, Trisha and myself) LOVES Barney! We watch Barney DVDs all the time and we only listen to Barney songs on the car stereo whenever Trisha's with us in the car. Thanks to Barney - Trisha now knows how to count to 10, she knows her ABCs, and she knows all the dialogues from her Barney DVDs. Talk about a change of heart.

3. He wakes up to feed Trisha or change her nappies when I am too sleepy to do so. He has been a hands-on dad eversince I gave birth to his darling daughter. And I appreciate it when he volunteers to get up when he knows I am too tired or sleepy.

4. He makes an effort to come home early and be with Trisha when I go on business trips (has only been once so far, with another one coming this July) or when I have dinner with friends (which is very rare as well). MS has to work late because he goes to work late ;). So it really means a lot to me when he comes home early during these rare times that I need him to.

5. He patiently carries Trisha around when we go to the mall. It's so difficult to shop with a baby! I think all mommies will agree with me on that. Especially at Trisha's age when she just loves to run around and touches everything that gets her curious. I appreciate it so much when MS would distract her from me so I can fit shoes or clothes or just to make my purchase.

Updates on Hubby's Charity Run

- I updated the list of our friends who committed to pledge for MS' Charity Run for Kythe.

- MS was able to confirm details with Kythe and they informed him to keep track of all the people who will donate since they will be releasing Individual ORs for all the donations made :). So everyone will be receiving their individual ORs from Kythe.

More updates later :). I hope more friends will send in their pledges for this charity run.

My hubby's charity run for Kythe

MS organized a fun run for their group in HP on Saturday. This fun run will be for charity and for this first run, all pledges will go to Kythe. I have texted my friends last night inviting them to make their pledges for MS' run. MS said he is targeting to complete 4-5 laps for this charity run. You could either pledge per lap or pledge a one time amount :).

So far, our following friends committed to pledge for his run:

Celle R - 500php per lap
Leslie P - 1000php
Anonymous Couple frm U - 1000php

I will be posting all the pledges made to MS through me in this blog and I have also asked MS to update his blog with all the pledges he gets, so everything is accounted for.

We will be sending the bank account details after the run so everyone who would pledge could just deposit directly to the bank. We will post updates on our blogs once the donations are made to Kythe.

I am truly proud of MS for this charity run :).

Tagaytay Wedding

We attended the wedding of our good friends, Jojo & Luanne, in Tagaytay last Saturday. We were late in church because we had to take Trisha to Makati Med for a checkup before heading to Tagaytay. Here's our family picture taken by Tito JC outside the Chapel on the Hill :).



Trisha was wearing her white Gingersnaps dress I bought a long long time ago ;). And her white Zara sandals we bought a couple of weeks ago for such occasions. I think she had a great time during the wedding, especially at the reception where she played with bubbles from the bubble-maker machine ;).
